Altino - Burano Island

Among the trips outside the tourist circuits, that we want to suggest, is Altino - Island of Burano, aboard a typical local boat the bragozzo, managed by a local cooperative. Altino is located a few km from Ca'del Riccio silvano. The departure is from the archaeological site Altino, where there is the National Archaeological Museum, which is worth visiting. Inside you will find a beautiful collection of pre-Roman and Roman finds from the Roman city of Altinum, on the edge of the northern lagoon. From here a private and inexpensive boat service departs, which will take you through the reeds of the Dese River and the northern Lagoon, to the island of Torcello and Burano. Upon reservation it also arrives in Venice.
