Treviso
Treviso is rich in waterways, which have favored its commercial development. The Sile was the main road connecting with Venice. Treviso is called urbs picta as it was tradition to fresco civil and military homes. Over the centuries Treviso has remained a lively, quiet and picturesque city, immersed in a particularly flourishing territory from a political and economic point of view, so much so as to define it, already in the thirteenth century, the "joyful and amorous city". Treviso knows how to give magical moments to those who love walking unhurriedly, following the waterways along the arcaded streets, and then find themselves seated in a typical tavern enjoying the delicacies of the Treviso area. Excellent city also for shopping and local cuisine with its famous radicchio. ;)
